Salesforce Lightning Services
Salesforce Lightning services from Advayan move your org off Salesforce Classic, rebuild legacy customizations on Lightning Web Components and Flow, and tune the interface your teams use every day. Every build follows current platform standards, so nothing we ship lands on a retired tool. One team scopes the work from a real audit, delivers it, and stays for adoption.
What Are Salesforce Lightning Services?
Salesforce Lightning services cover everything it takes to run Salesforce on its modern interface and framework: migrating orgs from Classic to Lightning Experience, building custom apps and Lightning Web Components, optimizing record pages in Lightning App Builder, and moving legacy automation to Flow. The work spans consulting, development, and post-go-live tuning.
Our service starts with a readiness audit of your Visualforce pages, Aura components, JavaScript buttons, and automation, then delivers the rebuild in scoped phases. The result is an org running entirely on supported technology, with pages that load faster, adapt to mobile, and give admins control through dynamic forms instead of code.
Core Salesforce Lightning Services
Eight service lines cover the Lightning work enterprises actually buy, from first migration to component modernization. Each one names the technology it runs on, so you know exactly what gets built.
Classic to Lightning Migration
Full transition from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience, scoped from an audit of your customizations. Users, page layouts, and automation move in planned phases, with rollback points defined before anything touches production.
Lightning App Development
Custom apps built in Lightning App Builder and code, with navigation, utility bars, and page templates matched to each role. Apps ship with permission sets configured, not left for your admin to untangle.
Lightning Web Component Development
Reusable LWC built to Salesforce Lightning Design System standards, tested in scratch orgs, and documented for reuse. Components follow current web standards, so they run fast on desktop and the Salesforce mobile app.
Record Page and UI Optimization
Slow, cluttered record pages rebuilt in Lightning App Builder using dynamic forms, conditional visibility, and component placement that cuts clicks. Page load performance gets measured before and after, not assumed.
Aura to LWC Modernization
Legacy Aura components were converted to Lightning Web Components for faster rendering and easier maintenance. Conversion runs by priority, with Aura and LWC coexisting safely until every component is moved and verified.
Flow Automation for Lightning
Business automation is built and rebuilt in Flow, the only automation tool Salesforce still develops. Legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder logic, unsupported since the end of 2025, gets migrated before it fails quietly.
Reports and Dashboards in Lightning
Lightning report types, interactive dashboards, and subscription schedules built for the questions your leadership actually asks. Filters and visibility follow your sharing model, so numbers stay accurate across every role.
Training and Adoption
Role-based training on the rebuilt interface, backed by adoption reporting on logins, page usage, and feature uptake. You see whether the investment is used, not just whether it launched.
What Does Our Lightning Readiness Audit Cover?
Every migration we quote starts here. The audit inventories what your org actually runs, so the roadmap prices real work instead of guesses. You receive these deliverables in a documented report.
Usage assessment showing which profiles still work in Classic and where
Visualforce page and JavaScript button inventory mapped to Lightning options
Aura component inventory ranked by usage, complexity, and conversion effort
Automation inventory flagging Workflow Rules and Process Builder still active
AppExchange package compatibility check run against Lightning Experience
Effort banded migration roadmap with phases, owners, and rollback points
Classic Is Frozen. Your Org Doesn't Have to Be.
Every new Salesforce feature ships to Lightning Experience only, and each release widens the gap. Book a readiness audit and get a priced, phased migration roadmap for your actual org.
Classic to Lightning: What Gets Rebuilt
Migration is not a toggle. These legacy customizations need rebuilding on their Lightning equivalents, and skipping any of them is how projects stall at ninety percent.
| Legacy Item | Lightning Replacement | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Visualforce pages | Lightning Web Components or Lightning pages | Visualforce can render inside Lightning, but it misses the speed, styling, and mobile behavior users expect |
| JavaScript buttons | Quick actions, LWC, or Flow triggered actions | JavaScript buttons do not run in Lightning Experience, so unconverted ones simply disappear at rollout |
| Workflow Rules and Process Builder | Flow | Both lost Salesforce support at the end of 2025, so failures in old automation no longer get fixed |
| Classic email templates | Lightning email templates | Lightning templates add rich editing, folders, and cleaner merge field control for daily sending |
| Aura components | Lightning Web Components | Aura still runs, but performance gains and new platform capability land in LWC |
Our Lightning Delivery Process
One process covers migrations, new builds, and modernization work. Each stage closes with a deliverable you can review, so progress is visible in your org, not just in status calls.
Audit and Scope
The readiness audit runs first, led by our Salesforce consulting eam, producing the inventories and roadmap above. Scope, phases, and pricing are agreed against that document, so nothing expands mid project without a decision from you.
Design to Lightning Standards
Page layouts, app structure, and components are designed in Lightning App Builder patterns and Salesforce Lightning Design System styling, with Dynamic Forms planned in from the start rather than bolted on later.
Build and Migrate in Sandbox
Visualforce, JavaScript buttons, Aura components, and legacy automation are rebuilt as LWC, quick actions, and Flow by our Salesforce development engineers inside a full sandbox. Every rebuilt item is tested against the behavior your users already expect.
Pilot With Real Users
A selected user group works in the new Lightning environment on live tasks before org wide rollout. Their feedback drives layout fixes and component adjustments while changes are still cheap to make.
Roll Out and Optimize
Deployment runs through change sets or DevOps pipelines with a rollback plan on standby. For thirty days after go-live, page performance, adoption, and error logs get reviewed weekly and tuned.
Aura to LWC Modernization
Aura carried Lightning’s first decade, but new platform capability lands in Lightning Web Components. This offer moves your component library across without breaking what currently works.
Component Inventory and Ranking
Every Aura component cataloged with its usage, dependencies, and conversion effort, so budget goes to the components your users actually touch instead of dead code.
Conversion With Coexistence
Components rebuilt in LWC and released in batches while remaining Aura keeps running, since both frameworks operate side by side on the platform without conflict.
Performance Validation
Rendering and load times compared before and after conversion on the pages that matter most, with results documented in your report rather than claimed in a slide.
Documentation and Handover
Converted components delivered with source control history, usage notes, and admin documentation, so your team can extend them without calling us for every small change.
Industries We Build Lightning For
Lightning work lands differently by sector, from compliance heavy consoles to donor portals. These are the environments our builds are shaped around.
Financial services: compliant consoles with audit ready permissions and views
Healthcare: patient record pages built around privacy and field level security
Manufacturing: order, inventory, and service visibility on one Lightning app
Retail and eCommerce: customer 360 pages connecting sales and service data
Energy and utilities: asset and field service tracking in Lightning consoles

On Lightning but Still Fighting It?
Half-migrated orgs, slow record pages, and Aura debt drain more productivity than staying on Classic ever did. Send us your three most complained-about pages and get an optimization plan.
Why Choose Advayan for Salesforce Lightning Services?
Plenty of vendors will move you to Lightning. The difference is what your org runs on the day after, and who answers when it needs work.
Current Standards Only
Everything ships on LWC, Flow, and Lightning App Builder. Nothing we build lands on Aura by default or on automation Salesforce no longer supports, so your org does not inherit fresh technical debt.
Scope From Evidence, Not Estimates
Every quote traces back to the readiness audit’s inventories. You see the Visualforce, Aura, and automation counts behind the price, which is why our migrations do not balloon halfway through.
One Team Past Go-Live
The developers who rebuild your org connect directly to our Salesforce L2 support and Salesforce maintenance and support teams, so post-migration issues route to people who already know your build.
Adoption Measured, Not Assumed
Login rates, page usage, and feature uptake get baselined before rollout and reported after it. If a team is not using what was built, you hear it from us first, with a fix.
Engagement Models
Match the model to the shape of the work. Every proposal is itemized line by line, and Salesforce licenses are always quoted separately from our services.
FIXED SCOPE MIGRATION
The readiness audit defines the inventory, the quote prices it, and the price holds. Best for Classic to Lightning moves and Aura conversions with a clear finish line.
TIME AND MATERIAL
Hourly delivery for evolving work such as ongoing UI optimization, new LWC builds, and phased modernization, with priorities adjusted sprint by sprint as your needs shift.
DEDICATED LIGHTNING TEAM
Named developers and an admin working only on your org, inside your tools and release calendar. Suited to enterprises running continuous Lightning development alongside daily operations.
Run Salesforce the Way It Was Meant to Run
Whether you are leaving Classic, converting Aura, or fixing pages users avoid, the next step is the same. Book the readiness audit and see your roadmap before you commit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers on migration, frameworks, timelines, and what happens after go-live. For anything specific to your org, talk to our team and get an answer grounded in your setup.
What are Salesforce Lightning services?
Salesforce Lightning services cover moving orgs from Classic to Lightning Experience, building apps and Lightning Web Components, optimizing record pages and automation, and driving user adoption. The goal is an org running entirely on the platform’s current interface, framework, and supported automation tools.
What is the difference between Salesforce Classic and Lightning?
Classic is the original Salesforce interface. Lightning Experience is the current one, built on a component framework with Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, richer dashboards, and proper mobile support. New Salesforce capability ships to Lightning, which is why staying on Classic means falling steadily behind.
Is Salesforce Classic being retired?
Salesforce has not announced a retirement date for Classic, and its retirement policy promises twelve months of written notice. But all new Salesforce innovation ships to Lightning Experience only, so every release widens the gap. Most enterprises now treat migration as overdue maintenance rather than an optional upgrade.
What is the difference between Aura and LWC?
Aura is Lightning’s original component framework. Lightning Web Components is the modern one, built on current web standards, with faster rendering and easier maintenance. Both run side by side in one org, so conversion can happen in prioritized batches instead of one risky rewrite.
How long does a Classic to Lightning migration take?
Duration depends on the Visualforce, Aura, JavaScript button, and automation inventory the readiness audit uncovers, which is why timelines are confirmed after the audit rather than guessed upfront. The audit itself produces a phased roadmap with effort bands attached to every stage of the work.
Will our data be at risk during migration?
Migration changes the interface and customizations, not your underlying records, and all rebuild work happens in a full sandbox first. Deployments run through change control with rollback points defined in advance, so production data and daily business behavior stay protected throughout the project.
What happens to our Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation?
It gets rebuilt in Flow. Salesforce ended support for Workflow Rules and Process Builder on December 31, 2025, so existing automation still runs but no longer receives fixes. The audit inventories every active rule and process, and migration to Flow is scoped directly from that list.
Can our existing Visualforce pages and custom buttons be reused?
Some Visualforce can run inside Lightning temporarily, but JavaScript buttons do not work there at all. The audit maps each item to its Lightning replacement, usually Lightning Web Components, quick actions, or Flow, so nothing your users rely on silently disappears at rollout.
Do you build in Lightning Web Components or Aura?
New components are built in Lightning Web Components by default, following Salesforce Lightning Design System standards and tested in scratch orgs. Aura appears only where a specific dependency requires it, and existing Aura libraries can be converted in batches through our modernization offer.
Does Lightning work on mobile?
Yes. Lightning pages and components built to current standards render in the Salesforce mobile app, and layouts are tested on phone form factors before rollout. Mobile behavior is part of the design stage, not an afterthought discovered by field teams after launch day.
How do you improve slow Lightning pages?
Page performance gets measured first, then fixed through component placement, conditional visibility, Dynamic Forms, and trimming components that load data nobody reads. Where custom components are the cause, conversion from Aura to Lightning Web Components typically delivers the largest single gain.
Do you provide support after go-live?
Yes. The first thirty days include weekly performance, adoption, and error reviews as part of delivery. Ongoing coverage then continues through our L2 support and maintenance teams, who receive the full build documentation, so issues route to people who already know your org.
How is Lightning work priced?
Through fixed scope migration priced off the audit, time and material for evolving work, or a dedicated Lightning team on a monthly basis. Every proposal is itemized, Salesforce licenses are quoted separately, and nothing is bundled where you cannot see or question it.
Can you take over a stalled or partial migration?
Yes. The readiness audit works on half migrated orgs too, showing what already moved, what still runs on Classic era tools, and what broke along the way. The roadmap then sequences the remaining work without redoing what your previous team already got right.
Will Lightning work with our integrations?
Yes. Lightning changes the interface layer, while integrations run through APIs underneath it. Integration touchpoints are checked during the audit, and where middleware is involved, our MuleSoft integration services team validates every connected flow end to end before rollout.
